CRAGCATION is 3 dudes (Will Myers, Ryan Hosfelt & John Antrim-Cashin) and 2 cars (Ingrid & Osa) engaged in a 4-5 month sport climbing tour of North America. We made a list of 16 MEGA-CLASSIC, MEGA-CRAGS where the Gang plans to clip bolts and chase grades… Or hang out in camp watching old 007 flicks while drinking Laphroaig and wearing Polo bathrobes. Who knows? We’re just going to show up and see what happens…

Here’s a map of the MEGA-CRAGS. We’ll start in Spearfish Canyon, SD and end up in El Potrero Chico, spending ~1 week at each MEGA-CRAG along the way. Will and Ryan have also discussed the feasibility of climbing 500 pitches of 5.10a or harder throughout CRAGCATION… But that might turn out to be a slog, so we’re not making any firm commitments just yet.

Also observe that our putative route looks strikingly like a lightning bolt. Step aside, interfere not in our path, we are cragsters, we are the wonder boys, and we travel by lightning!
